YAY FOR MEEEE!
My boyfriend proposed to me about a week ago, and I've been SO happy! I finally get to wear the gorgeous ring I knew he had haha.
We've been together since November 2010, so about a year and a half. He bought the wedding ring April 2011, however. He's been sure he wanted to marry me for a LONG time now.

It's amethyst and blue topaz, the topaz looks more brighter/more blue in real life.

Here's the story of the ring:
Jp, my boyfriend, and I were at the mall when we decided to stop in the jewelry store for fun. We saw this bee broach, and started to joke about how awesome of a ring it would be. (We love bees, it's kind of a reoccurring theme in our relationship, we have tons of bee-related inside jokes, so this is really meaningful to us.) Anyway, about a month later I saw a receipt from the store in his room, and was like "OMG YOU DID IT?!" and he couldn't contain his excitement, so he told me had ordered it. I wasn't allowed to see it for like a few months, but I finally was able to take a peek at it

Anyway so I've been waiting for him to propose since then, and he did it really amazingly. After work one day Jp and I went out for tea with my friends, then impulsively decided to go to the lake and go swimming. We got to the lake and Jp jumped RIGHT IN off of some jagged rocks, which was shocking to me because normally I'm the crazy one and he's terrified of jumping into icy, painful water off of high things haha. So he was really adventurous, then we started to tease our other friend about not jumping in while we were sitting on a rock warming up, and Jp turned to me and said "You know, I can understand him procrastinating. Heck, I only did it because you were here. In fact, there's a lot of things I wouldn't have been able to do without you in my life. That's why I want you to marry me." And he pulled out the box with the bee and it was amazing!!!
Of course I said yes C:

So yeah! That's my great news, and perhaps why I'm feeling so artistic suddenly haha.
